१. दिगो विकासको अवधारणा प्रष्ट पार्नुहोस् ।

Answer👉 दिगो विकासको अवधारणा मूलतः वातावरण संरक्षण र विकास निर्माणमा प्रत्यक्ष रूपमा सन्तुलन खोज्ने अवधारणा हो । यसले पृथ्वीले वहन गर्न सक्ने अर्थात् धान्न सक्ने र निरन्तर लाभ प्राप्त भइरहने विकासलाई बुझाउँछ । यति मात्र नभई यसले एक क्षेत्रको विकास गर्दा अर्को क्षेत्रको वातावरणीय पक्षमा समेत क्षय हुन नदिने गरी गरिने विकासलाई समेत जनाउँछ । तसर्थ भावी पुस्ताका आवश्यकतालाई मध्यनजर राख्दै वर्तमान पिँढीका आवश्यकतालाई परिपूर्ति गर्ने विकास नै दिगो विकास हो । संयुक्त राष्ट्रसङ्घको ४२ औँ साधारण सभा सन् १९८७ पछि यो अवधारणा विश्वव्यापी बनेको हो ।

२. “अव्यवस्थित विकासले विनाश निम्त्याउँछ ।" पुष्टि गर्नुहोस् ।

Answer👉 हामीले प्रकृतिको संरक्षण गर्न सक्यौं भने मात्र हाम्रो अस्तित्व रहन्छ । वातावरणको संरक्षणले स्वस्थ र दीर्घायु बन्न सकिन्छ । जैविक विविधता र पारिस्थितिक प्रणालीको संरक्षण गर्न सके पृथ्वीको रक्षा गर्न सकिन्छ । पृथ्वीको तापक्रम वृद्धि रोक्न सकिन्छ । विकास गर्ने बाहनामा जथाभावी वनजङ्गल विनाश गर्नु भनेको वातावरण नाश गर्नु हो । विकास गर्दा अहिलेको आवश्यकता सँगसँगै भावी पुस्ताका आवश्यकतालाई पनि असर पार्नु हुँदैन । बाटो बनाउने नाममा जथाभावी वन मास्ने, जथाभावी डाँडापाखामा डोजर चलाउने कार्यले विकासका नाममा विनाश निम्त्याउँछ । बाढी, पहिरो, भूक्षय, अतिवृष्टि, खण्डवृष्टि, तापक्रममा वृद्धि जस्ता विविध समस्या निम्त्याउँछ । तसर्थ अव्यवस्थित विकासले विनाश निम्त्याउँछ ।

३. दिगो विकासका लागि तपाईं कसरी योगदान दिन सक्नुहुन्छ ?

Answer👉 दिगो विकासका लागि म निम्न कार्य गरेर योगदान दिन सक्छु :-

आफ्नो समुदायमा भएका विकास निर्माण कार्य दिगो विकासको अवधारणाअनुरूप भए नभएको खोजी गर्ने
विकास निर्माणसम्बन्धी छलफलमा सहभागी बन्ने र दिगो विकासको अवधारणालाई उच्च प्राथमिकता दिन सुझाउने
दिगो विकासको आवश्यकता र महत्त्व सम्बन्धमा जनचेतना फैलाउने
सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक, प्राकृतिक सम्पदाको संरक्षणमा आवश्यक सहयोग गर्ने ।

४. दिगो विकासका उद्देश्यहरूको सूची तयार पार्नुहोस् ।

Answer👉 दिगो विकासको उद्देश्यहरू :-

गरिबी निवारणमा सहयोग पुऱ्याउने र सामाजिक समृद्धि हासिल गर्ने
प्राकृतिक स्रोत र साधनको विवेकपूर्ण र सावधानीका साथ उपयोग गर्ने
उच्च, स्थिर, फराकिलो र दिगो आर्थिक वृद्धि र विकास हासिल गर्ने
मानवीय विकास र प्रगति गरी त्यसको सबलीकरण गर्ने
वातावरणको प्रभावकारी संरक्षण गर्ने
सुशासन, सामाजिक न्याय र सामाजिक सद्भाव कायम गर्ने
सामाजिक र सांस्कृतिक सम्पदाको संरक्षण गर्ने ।

Lesson 2: Sustainable development

1. Explain the concept of sustainable development.

Answer👉 The concept of sustainable development is basically the concept of directly finding a balance between environmental protection and development. It refers to the development that the earth can afford, i.e., it can sustain and continuously benefit from. Not only this, it also refers to the development of one area in such a way that the environmental aspect of the other area is not damaged. Therefore, development that fulfills the needs of the present generation while keeping in mind the needs of future generations is sustainable development. After the 42nd General Assembly of the United Nations in 1987, this concept became universal.

2. "Disordered development leads to destruction." Affirm.

Answer👉 Our existence will last only if we can protect nature. By protecting the environment, you can become healthy and live longer. The earth can be protected by protecting biological diversity and ecological systems. Earth's temperature rise can be stopped. Destruction of forests in the name of development means destroying the environment. Development should not affect the needs of future generations along with the needs of the present. Indiscriminate cutting of forests in the name of road construction, indiscriminate use of dozers in hilly areas leads to destruction in the name of development. It causes various problems like floods, landslides, erosion, heavy rains, torrential rains, increase in temperature. Therefore, uncontrolled development leads to destruction.

3. How can you contribute to sustainable development?

Answer👉 For sustainable development I can contribute by doing the following :-

Investigate whether the development works in your community are in accordance with the concept of sustainable development

Participating in discussions on development and recommending that the concept of sustainable development be given high priority

To spread public awareness regarding the need and importance of sustainable development

Providing necessary assistance in the protection of social, cultural and natural heritage.

4. Prepare a list of sustainable development objectives.

Answer👉 Objectives of sustainable development:-

To help alleviate poverty and achieve social prosperity

Using natural resources and resources judiciously and carefully

To achieve high, stable, broad and sustainable economic growth and development

Empowering human development and progress
