१. शीत प्रदेशको अवस्थिति उल्लेख गर्नुहोस् ।
Answer👉 शीत प्रदेश पृथ्वीको दुवै गोलार्धमा ६० देखि ९० डिग्री अक्षांशसम्मको ध्रुवीय प्रभाव क्षेत्रमा अवस्थित रहेको छ । यसअर्न्तगत पृथ्वीको उत्तरी गोलार्धको ६० देखि ७० डिग्री अक्षांशीय क्षेत्रमा साइबेरियन हावापानी, उत्तरी गोलार्धको ७० देखि ९० डिग्री अक्षांशीय क्षेत्रमा टुन्ड्रा हावापानीको क्षेत्र पाइन्छ । त्यस्तै दक्षिणी गोलार्धको ६६ देखि ९० डिग्री अक्षांशीय क्षेत्रमा भने अन्टार्कटिका हावापानी रहेको छ ।
२. टाइगा भनेको के हो ? यसको महत्त्व बुँदागत रूपमा प्रस्तुत गर्नुहोस् ।
Answer👉 पृथ्वीको उत्तरी गोलार्धको ६० देखि ७० डिग्री अक्षांशमा पाइने साइबेरियन हावापानीको क्षेत्रमा पाइने कोणधारी घना वनको क्षेत्रलाई टाइगा भनिन्छ । यसको महत्त्व बुँदागत रूपमा निम्न छन् :-
- विशाल क्षेत्रमा फैलिएको यो वन यहाँका मानिसको मुख्य आर्थिक उपार्जनको स्रोत रहेको
- कागज बनाउन चाहिने अर्ध तरल पदार्थ यहीँको वनस्पतिबाट तयार पारिने
- यहाँको मुख्य पेसा काठको व्यवसाय अर्थात् लम्बरिङ यसै वनबाट सञ्चालन हुने

३. अति चिसो ठाउँ हुँदा पनि टुन्ड्रा प्रदेशका आदिवासीहरू हिउँकै घर इग्लुमा बस्छन् । किन ? कारण दिनुहोस् ।
Answer👉 अति चिसो ठाउँ हुँदा पनि टुन्ड्रा प्रदेशका आदिवासीहरू हिउँकै घर इग्लुमा बस्छन् । यसको मुख्य कारण यहाँ स्थायी रूपमा बसोबास गर्ने प्रचलन अत्यन्त न्यून मात्र रहेको छ । यहाँका एस्किमो र इन्युट जातका मानिस फिरन्ते आदिवासीका रूपमा रहेका छन् । उनीहरू अस्थायी घर बनाएर अस्थायी रूपमा मात्र बसोबास गर्छन् । त्यस्तै यिनीहरूको पेसा हिउँमा पाइने सिल माछा र हिम भालुको सिकार गरेर जीविकोपार्जन गर्ने हो ।
४. शीत प्रदेशको अति उत्तरी र दक्षिणी केही भागमा छ महिना दिन र छ महिना रात हुन्छ । के कारणले यस्तो भएको होला ?
Answer👉 पृथ्वीको दुवै गोलार्धमा ध्रुवीय प्रभावको क्षेत्रमा शीत प्रदेश अवस्थित छ । यहाँ प्रायः वर्षैभरि सूर्यको किरण छड्के पर्छ । यस प्रदेशको अति उत्तरी र दक्षिणी केही भागमा सूर्यको उत्तरायण र दक्षिणायनका कारण दिन र रातको लम्बाइमा धेरै अन्तर हुन्छ । सूर्य उत्तरायण भएको वेलामा दक्षिणी ध्रुवीय क्षेत्र प्रायः अन्धकार हुन्छ भने सूर्य दक्षिणायन भएको बेलामा उत्तरी ध्रुवीय क्षेत्र प्रायः अन्धकार हुन्छ । तसर्थशीत प्रदेशको अति उत्तरी र दक्षिणी केही भागमा छ महिना दिन र छ महिना रात हुन्छ ।

Answer👉 Cold region is located in the polar influence zone between 60 to 90 degrees latitude in both hemispheres of the earth. In addition, the Siberian climate is found in the 60 to 70 degree latitude region of the Northern Hemisphere, and the tundra climate region is found in the 70 to 90 degree latitude region of the Northern Hemisphere. Similarly, the southern hemisphere has an Antarctic climate in the 66 to 90 degree latitude region.
2. What is Taiga? Present its importance point by point.
Answer👉 The area of angular dense forest found in the 60 to 70 degree latitude of the Northern Hemisphere of the Siberian climate is called Taiga. Its importance is briefly as follows:-

3. Even though it is a very cold place, the tribals of the tundra region live in igloos, houses made of snow. why Give a reason.
Answer👉 Even though it is a very cold place, the tribals of Tundra region live in igloos, houses made of snow. The main reason for this is that the trend of permanent residence here is very low. The Eskimo and Inuit people here are nomadic tribes. They build temporary houses and live only temporarily. Similarly, their profession is to earn a living by hunting seals and polar bears found in the snow.
4. There are six months of day and six months of night in the extreme northern and southern parts of Shit Pradesh. Why did this happen?
Answer👉 In both hemispheres of the earth, cold regions are located in the polar influence area. The sun shines here almost throughout the year. Due to the northern and southern parts of this province, there is a large difference in the length of day and night. When the Sun is Uttarayana, the South Polar region is mostly dark, while when the Sun is Dakshinayan, the North Polar region is mostly dark. There are six months of day and six months of night in the extreme northern and southern parts of the province.
